Comment allez vous? Pour ma part ça va super bien, je vous retrouve aujourd'hui avec un roman en anglais et donc une chronique bilingue^^ Je tiens à remercier Sloane Kennedy pour ce SP et comme toujours c'est un plaisir de lire un de ses MMM. Sans plus tarder couverture et résumé (en vo)

FR- Alors alors... .alors encore une fois.. pffff j'aime j'aime j'aime.. Mon premier MMM était de Sloane Kennedy et si j'aime tous ses romans je dois avouer que j'ai une préférence pour ses MMM. Et celui là.. oh punaise, je crois bien que je préfère encore sa série Finding à sa série The Protectors..
C'était tout simplement.. magnifique, fort, émouvant.. pfff j'ai pleuré, j'ai souffert, j'ai adoré.. je suis tombée amoureuse de Brody et Quinn, j'ai senti mon coeur se serrer pour Beck... pfff qu'est ce que j'aime ce personnage.. et bien entendu j'ai adoré retrouver TOUS les personnages des autres séries.
Alors oui je ne suis pas sure que dans la vraie vie il y ait autant de gays au kilomètre carré que dans les romans de Sloane Kennedy mais j'ai envie de dire, allez, pourquoi pas.. et puis ces familles, que ce soit les Barretti, les Protectors ou mes cowboys de Finding, sont juste fortes et belles..

A ce jour, je ne suis à jour que dans la série The Protectors qui est la première série de Sloane Kennedy que j'ai lu et je sais que je n'ai qu'une hate, lire les autres séries en intégralité...
Alors j'avoue que le petit graphique de l'auteur pour savoir qui est qui, qui sort avec qui, qui est le frère/fils de qui est bien pratique et qu'en général je l'ai toujours sous la main quand je lis un de ses romans mais au delà de ça, chaque roman peut être lu indépendamment les uns des autres.
Si vous ne connaissez pas encore Sloane Kennedy foncez (surtout que pour les lectures VF plus d'excuse: Le tome 1 de Finding est sorti chez Juno et le tome 1 de The Protectors sort en avril!)
Ce roman en particulier m'a beaucoup touchée, je crois que c'est à ce jour un de mes préférés parce qu'il est très très fort. Le personnage de Beck en particulier. C'est un personnage qui dès le prologue m'a énormément touchée et j'ai eu très très mal pour lui tout au long de ma lecture. J'ai beaucoup aimé sa relation avec Brody et Quinn bien sur mais aussi celle qu'il a avec ses pères (dont j'ai très très envie de lire l'histoire j'avoue!)
Quinn m'a aussi beaucoup touchée et Brody est un personnage très fort qui est pour moi la base de leur relation.
Une fois de plus un MMM réussit où chacun apporte quelque chose à l'autre sans qu'on ait un couple +1 et c'est ce que j'adore dans les MMM de Sloane Kennedy.
En résumé un sans faute encore pour l'auteur avec un roman qui pour moi est un poil au dessus des autres.

ENG- So.. well well well.... well once again .. pffff I like it, like it, like it .. My first MMM was from Sloane Kennedy and if I love all her novels I must confess I have a preference for her MMM. And that one .. omg,... I think I still prefer her Finding series to her The Protectors series ..
It was just .. beautiful, strong, moving .. pfff I cried, I suffered, I loved .. I fell in love with Brody and Quinn, I felt my heart squeeze for Beck ... pfff I like him so much .. and of course I loved to find ALL the characters of the other series.
So yes I'm not sure that in real life there are as many gays per square kilometer as in Sloane's novels but I want to say, go, why not .. and then these families, The Barretti, the Protectors or my cowboys of Finding, are just strong and beautiful ..
To this date, I am only up to date in The Protectors series which is the first series of Sloane Kennedy that I read and I know that I want only one thing, to read the other series in full ...
So I confess that the little graphic of the author, to know who is who, who dates who, who is the brother / son of who, is very practical and that I usually always have it on hand when I read one of her novel but beyond that, each novel can be read independently of each other.
If you do not know yet Sloane Kennedy go (especially that for VF readers no more excuse: Finding's Volume 1 is released at Juno and Volume 1 of The Protectors will be released in April!)
This particular novel has touched me a lot, I think it is to this day one of my favorites because it is very very strong.
The character of Beck in particular. It is a character who, from the prologue, touched me a lot and I suffer ver badly for him throughout my reading. I loved his relationship with Brody and Quinn of course but also the one he has with his fathers (which I very much want to read the story I admit!)
Quinn also touched me a lot and Brody is a very strong character who is for me the basis of their relationship.
Once again a MMM succeeds where each one brings something to the other without a couple +1 and that's what I adore in the MMM of Sloane Kennedy.
In summary a no-fault yet for the author with a novel that for me is above the others.
